Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center Pet of the Week: Mae

Meet Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center's featured adoptable cat, Mae!

Mae is a four-year-old female calico kitty who's been searching for her family for too long - we have no idea why this gem of a girl is still at the shelter! She's a queen, no question, who lives for belly rubs and ear scratches. Mae is perfectly content to simply sit with her person or perch on the window sill and watch the birds fly by. Her ideal home would welcome her as the only cat (she is a princess, after all), but she might tolerate the perfectly matched pal.Β

For more information on Mae and the other animals at Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, visit the website at www.milwaukeearc.org and click on 'adopt.' If you are interested in meeting this beautifully charming girl, stop in at Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center during open hours:

  • Tuesdays 3-7pm
  • Thursdays 3-7pm
  • Saturdays 12-3pm

Those interested in potential adoption should plan to arrive at the Center at least 30 minutes prior to close so the adoption counselor has adequate time to devote to the visit.
