CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Outing

On March 18, 2012 our lives changed forever. We lost our son CJ to a heroin overdose after a long, hard fought battle with addiction. From that point forward, we knew we wanted to make a difference to those lost in the ugly world of addiction. As we reflect moving forward, it is hard to believe this is our 3rd annual golf outing. We are so proud that in 2 short years, we have been fortunate to assist 6 addicts in their recovery and help countless families who have a loved one struggling with addiction. Through your love & support, we have been able to accomplish our goals. We continue to be successful because of you. This golf outing is our primary source of funding and without your continued support, we could not have accomplished all we have this past year. The drug epidemic we are facing today is happening in YOUR community, YOUR schools and YOUR neighborhood.

We formed the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation as a means to bring something positive from our tragedy, as well as keeping CJ's giving spirit alive. Our hope is to provide financial assistance to 12 addicts in 2014 as well as continue our support group with families. This is only possible with your support. Heroin has become a horrendous epidemic, devastating families and killing our youth. Heroin related deaths now out number automobile accident deaths! As you can see, there is so much more to do. With your support, we will continue to spread awareness, educate our youth, financially assist addicts in a inpatient treatment facility as well as lend emotionally support to families who have a loved one struggling with addiction.
