Beginning Tai Chi Chuan I
17 Tuesdays, January 29 – May 21
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient form of Chinese exercise, which consists of a choreographed form of movement performed in a deliberate, but very slow and gentle fashion. This physical art form exercises both the mind and the body together, allowing tension held within the body to be released. The resulting relaxation improves blood circulation and the flow of the vital energy, what the Chinese call “chi”, within the body. Each class session will offer instruction on the individual postures that make up the form.
