Creativity and Healthy Aging: How Creativity Counters the Effects of Aging
2 Thursdays, February 21 & 28
Current evidence now supports the relationship between creativity and healthy aging. By intentionally using our creativity, we wake up our entire system, we receive numerous mind-body-spirit health benefits including a reduction in stress level and we help free ourselves from limiting beliefs that can drain us of our vital life energy. In this class, you will learn: four important areas where creativity can be used regularly to support healthy aging; simple meditation techniques to connect mind with heart for greater balance, self-worth and feelings of accomplishment; several exercises to experience the creative process firsthand; and a method in which to select future activities that will best serve you for long-term expression and fulfillment.
