“Fall Finale” Family Fun Walk with Melinda Myers at Boerner

Botanical Gardens on Sat., October 5


Gardening

expert, TV/radio host, author and columnist Melinda Myers will lead two “Fall Finale”

family fun walk at Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive in Hales

Corners on Saturday, Oct. 5.


The walk,

hosted by the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens, will feature fun for the

entire family, including a scavenger hunt, bark rubbings, leaf prints and a

garden activity for the kids to take home and grow.   “I’m excited to

partner with Boerner and join attendees to savor the fall beauty of the Gardens,”

explained Myers. “The family fun walk is always a great way to get kids

interested and involved in nature and gardening!”

Proceeds

from the series will support the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens’

Children’s Plant Science and Environmental Education at Boerner Botanical

Gardens.
