Layton Avenue Church to hold unique Easter event, A Walk to the Cross

Church to hold interactive performance of Christ's final days

Layton Avenue Baptist Church will hold a unique, sensory and experiential production of Jesus Christ’s final days with a production called A Walk to the Cross.

The event provides a venue that takes visitors back in time to the days leading up to Christ’s death on the cross.

“It’s an interactive experience, a way for people to relate to Jesus’ story and the final days of his life,” says director Sarah Brugger. “By surrounding visitors with what happened in those final days they become an eyewitness and participant. It’s moving.”

The event will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 17-April 18 at Layton Avenue Baptist Church, 9000 Layton Ave., Greenfield.

Presentations begin every 10 minutes and last about 30 minutes. Admission is free but those wishing to attend should reserve a time slot at Events.LaytonAvenueChurch.org or call (414) 327-0883.
