Layton Avenue Baptist to hold second annual appraisal fair
Have that antique from grandma or unique item bought at a rummage sale and wondering what they’re worth? How about the value of that gold jewelry piece you’ve always wondered about – and
would be willing to part with for the right price?
You can find out what they’re worth, and more, at the Second Annual ayton Avenue Baptist Church Appraisal Fair, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at Layton Avenue Baptist Church, 9000 W. Layton Ave. Professional appraisers will be on hand to provide a value for each antique, unique item or gold jewelry piece. Appraisal cost per piece is $5 and a maximum of seven items.

The fair is being held as a fund-raiser for the church’s building fund.
"We hope that folks can get a true appraisal for their unique items or antiques or have some questions answered about them,” says Paula Zeller, building fund committee co-chairwoman. “The appraisals are offered at a good value, too – $5 is a reasonable rate to pay for an item to be appraised.”
