Glenwood students enjoyed a fun-filled evening Thursday night when the Kohl's Mobile Design It Lab from Discovery World made a stop at the school!
Students (and their parents) experimented and tinkered with tools including heat sealers and vacuum formers to design and create purses, wallets, molds and some pretty funky sunglasses!
The Kohl’s Design It! Lab is made possible by a partnership between Kohl’s Department Stores and Discovery World. The Mobile Lab workshops go directly to schools and add a unique experience for the kids.

In addition to tinkering, students enjoyed face-painting by their art teachers, a gallery of student artwork and ice cream sold by the fifth graders.
The Glenwood Home and School Association enjoys organizing activities that benefit the students, families and staff of Glenwood School.
