Spring (And Music!) Are In The Air!

Shake off the winter doldrums and think spring as the Greenfield Concert Band presents its spring concert Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center, 4800 S. 60th St.

The band, under the direction of conductor Kelly Schultz, will perform a variety of classical and contemporary works including “The Entertainer,” “Silverado,” selections from “West Side Story” and more.

Admission to all 2013-14 Greenfield Concert Band performances is free of charge. Donations to the band are encouraged and will be accepted at the door. A basket and gift raffle will also take place before and after the concert.

The Greenfield Concert Band is composed of professional and amateur musicians ages 16-85 from throughout the Milwaukee area. Formed with the intent to provide the Greenfield community with positive and memorable musical experiences, the Greenfield Concert Band is currently celebrating its inaugural performance season.
