Condo Project Off 124th Street Making a Comeback

The project was approved in 2006 but stalled out because of the recession.

Waterford Avenue off of 124th Street, which for years has led to, well nowhere, could soon lead to a condominium association.

Developer Curtis Podd wants to resurrect Creekside Estates, a once-planned residential development around the end of the Waterford Avenue cul-de-sac just south of the Wildcat Creek subdivision.

Poff's proposal is to build seven two-family condos. He's proposing to buy the project that got approval back in 2006, but stalled out in 2007 - after the city built the cul-de-sac - because of the residential recession.

In addition to the cul-de-sac, storm and utilities were also installed six years ago.

The condo project is expected to come before the Planning Commission during its Sept. 10 meeting.
