4th of July: It's All Come Down to This

Greenfield's 4th of July Parade and Celebration is only a couple of days away.

Months of planning has come down to just a couple of days away before we step-off for the "Bestest" 4th of July Parade and Celebration for Greenfield. I'd be remiss if I didn't take some time from setting up in the hot sun at to recognize my hard - working VOLUNTEER Committee:  Bridget Condon, Community Bank and Trust; Gina Daroszewski, Classic Lanes/EmbroidMe; Dennis Ervin, Squire Men's Clothier, Mary Ann Hall, Kristin Kowaleski, Kristian Moberg, Pam Panich and Sue Stankus.  Without their sacrifice of time and efforts, we would not have been able to pull this event together.

Many thanks to our Title Sponsors: , , and the Partners of Greenfield Park and Recreation, for without them, we would not have a parade and celebration. I cannot forget to mention the support of Greenfield businesses whose sponsorships allowed us to feature many new events in this year's parade and celebration. Thank you to our Blue Ribbon Sponsors:  , Greenfield Chamber of Commerce and . Thank you to our Red Ribbon Sponsors:  , BP Gas & Food Mart/LoomisGas & Food Mart, , the Moberg Family and .  Thank you to our White Ribbon Sponsors:  Advance Camping & Sales, Dennis Ervin, Greenfield Pontiac - Buick, , , , and .  Thank you to our Green Ribbon Sponsors: Aldi, Inc., Don Carlson, County Board Supervisor, Mark Borkowski, , Denai'sDancers, , and Skibs Entertainment.  And finally, thank you for your donation of much needed goods and services:  George Webbs, Jimmy Johns, The Forum Restaurants, Office Depot and Special Editions.

Be sure to plan for a hot day of fun and excitement. Our "Bestest" Parade steps-off at 12:15 pm.  We are so excited to have former Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers great Mark Tauscher as our honorary parade grand marshal, assisting with flag-raising ceremonies and enjoying the 5th Quarter performance by the University of Wisconsin Marching Band.  Mark will be joined by over 80 parade entries, ending with Bucky Badger and the University of Wisconsin  Marching Band.
