The Greenfield Celebrations Committee Needs Your Help

The Fourth of July is not a celebration without you, and the Greenfield Celebrations Committee needs help pulling off the event.

I've had the honor and the challenge to help organize this year's 4th of July Celebration for the City of Greenfield as a member of the Greenfield Celebrations Committee.

The Committee formed last August with volunteers who had one purpose in mind: to plan a celebration that our city hasn't seen in a long time. Please join in me in recognizing their tireless efforts as our Celebration fast approaches: Jim Gaulke, Fast Signs; Carol Schmidt, Ruby Tuesdays Restaurant; Gina Daroszewski, Classic Lanes; Kristian Moberg, Greenfield Jaycees; Sarah Deshong, Bakers Square Restaurant - West Allis; Bill Code the DJ; Mary Ann Hall; Jess LaRocque; Judy Baxter, CPA; and Scott Jacquish and Brian Ostopowicz, City of Greenfield Park and Recreation.  A special shout-out to Kathy Doonan, Dan Jansen Family Fest, who provided much needed advice and support.

There's still more to do for this year's celebration and I/we need more help. If you have a couple of hours to spare, we could use your help with grounds maintenance and parking on the 4th. If you can't join us on the 4th, please consider sponsoring the celebration to defray expenses and/or donate a raffle item.
