All About Books: Teaser Tuesday - My Name is Memory

My Name is Memory - "Sometimes love lasts more than a lifetime." Anyone think I'll need a hanky?

Last week, my impulsive side came out clamoring for instant gratification. I rashly purchased the entire "Outlander" series - for deep discounts, of course! - and am somewhat patiently awaiting their arrival. I have to say I didn't have much hope for the book I would start after finishing "Outlander," but I've been pleasantly surprised.

"She didn't know what to do. She wanted to find Daniel."

My tease this week is from Ann Brashares's "My Name is Memory." It's the story of Daniel and Lucy, or Sophia as she once was. Daniel has lived and died many deaths. And every time he returns to life, he seeks out Sophia. He loves her and she loves him . . . she just doesn't always remember. The premise is haunting and, so far, only 40-or-so pages in, I'm hooked.

Teaser Tuesday Rules:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.

As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.
