All About Books: Teaser Tuesday . . . on Wednesday!

This week's two-sentence tease comes from "Overseas" by Beatriz Williams.

Hello everyone! I'm back from my travels; refreshed, rejuvenated (sort of) and, of course, reading! I finished a book on my trip ("The Grimm Legacy," very good!) and started another - the book featured in today's Teaser Tuesday post - "Overseas" by Beatriz Williams. I have the sad and sinking feeling that this lovely book is going to break my little heart. But, for now:

"He looked at me a long time, his green eyes soft and glowing, until I could feel each distinct cell of my flushed skin as it scraped against my clothes. 'When I saw you in that conference room,' he said at last, in his low coaxing voice, 'all I could think was there she is! I've found her at last.'"

Teaser Tuesday Rules:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

So, what are you reading? What have you finished reading? What are you going to be reading?

I don't have anything, but am looking at "The Girl and the Unicorn" by the same author who wrote "The Girl with the Pear Earring." I might have that last title a little bit wrong, but I really loved that book so I may buy and download the book with the unicorn.

I'll have to read that one - thanks for the suggestion. And it was lovely to meet you in person last night. :)

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.

As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.
