Several years ago, a friend recommended Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" to me. It's a massive tome of a novel, topping 600 pages. Oh, and it's book one of at least seven, all about the same length. (Book #8 is in the works.) I read it and really, really enjoyed it. So I kept reading the series and very quickly got burnt out. I stopped after the second or third book, I don't recall which. But, as you'll see from this week's Teaser, I'm starting all over again - and falling in love with the book all over again. This time, however, I have a better plan. I'm going to pace myself and read at least one or two books in between each novel in the Outlander series. That should work much better . . . at least I hope so!

Teaser Tuesday Rules:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I have to admit to giving up on "The Postmistress." It was over 70 pages in and the book just wasn't grabbing or holding my attending. And, with seven 600-plus page books on the horizon, this blogger has plenty to read!
Oh, and keep an eye out for an all new weekly blog post from me - Throwback Thursday!
