All About Books: Teaser Tuesday — Suspense and Sensibility

A two-sentence tease of the second book in the Mr. & Mrs. Darcy series by Wisconsin author Carrie Bebris.

After a week off of work, indulging in five books, 12 magazines and countless hours of Food Network, I'm back in my office and playing catch-up with everything I missed while frolicing with my animal neices and nephews. My last post outlined all the books I read while on vacation - I only have one addition - "Ruby Holler" by Sharon Creech. Oh, and I did finish "Jeneration X", as well.

I've since moved on to Carrie Bebris's "Suspense and Sensibility," and it's the featured book in this week's Teaser Tuesday post. So, without any further ado:

Teaser Tuesday Rules:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"'You returned home early.' Darcy, having himself just entered the townhouse, helped his wife remove her wrap."

That's it! All you get, folks. What are you reading today?

"If the FBI is stumped, what makes you think your friends can do anything?"
"They break into business networks all the time." "Ape House" by Sara Gruen

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.

As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.
