Getting Ready for a Read-A-Thon

Getting ready the night before Patch's book blogger participates in her first ever read-a-thon.

I'm so excited! Tomorrow I'll be starting my first ever read-a-thon with a very good friend. She's done several of these, so I'm relying on her expertise. My sister, Michelle, is going to join us for a portion of the read-a-thon as well, so I'm even more excited!

After work, I went to the grocery store and picked up the last few things I needed, as well as the ingredients to make a cheesy potato soup. It's going to slow cook for almost seven hours and will be the perfect meal to go along with the first leg of 24 hours of reading.Β

I'm not entirely sure how many books I'm going to get through. I do know that I'll be kicking off with "A Reliable Wife" by Robert Goolrick. I'll probably put "Sam's Letters to Jennifer" by James Patterson second, followed by "Hush, Hush" Becca Fitzpatrick and "A Lady Never Lies" by Juliana Gray (aka Beatriz Williams). We'll see how that goes . . . I have a second string of three books waiting should I happen to get through those first four.Β

I'll be checking in and updating here and there during the read-a-thon, and you can also follow my progress over at my Goodreads page.
