Alverno College's Devon Gorman was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for women's basketball for games of Feb. 4-10, her second such honor this season.

Gorman (Mosinee, Wis.) averaged a double-double -- 15.3 points, 10.0 rebounds -- as the Inferno went 3-0, locked up a Northern Athletics Conference tournament spot, set the school-record for wins and guaranteed the program's first winning season, last week.

The junior forward scored 11 points, snagged 10 rebounds and had four assists in Tuesday's 62-42 victory over MSOE. In Thursday's 63-44 win at Marian she scored a team-high 19 points and led all with 14 rebounds. At Dominican on Saturday, a 58-41 win, Gorman led all scorers with 16 points and added six rebounds.

On the week, she shot over 77 percent from the field, 90 percent from the free-throw line and made both of her 3-point shots in the trio of victories for Alverno (15-9, 12-5 NAC).

Alverno is next in action on Wednesday at Concordia Wisconsin in a 7 p.m. tipoff.
