Inferno Competes At Falcon Invite

MEQUON, Wis. -- Taylor Volbrecht paced the Alverno College cross country team Saturday morning at the Falcon Invitational hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin.
Volbrecht finished the 6K in 29 minutes, 31 seconds for a 130th place finish of nearly 200 Division III competitors.
Lauren Colette was the next Inferno runner to cross the finish line with a time of 30:20, followed by Alyssa Blom (34:26), Jeanette Alonso (41:24) and Ashley Shackelford (44:05).

Carroll University's Megan O'Grady was the top DIII finisher with a time of 22:51, while Carthage College won the race's DIII title with 51 points and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay won the DI title with 16 points.
Alverno finished with a team score of 571 for a 19th place finish against the DIII teams.
