'Kick Like A Girl' Filmmaker To Speak At Alverno

Jenny Mackenzie, Ph.D., the award-winning documentary filmmaker of "Kick Like a Girl" will speak at Lampe Hall on the campus of Alverno College, Wednesday, Sept. 26.

MILWAUKEE -- Jenny Mackenzie, Ph.D., the award-winning documentary filmmaker of "Kick Like a Girl" and a well-known motivational speaker, will speak at Lampe Hall on the campus of Alverno College, Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Dr. Mackenzie captivates, entertains and inspires audiences with her documentary film clips followed by a motivational discussion on a variety of topics.

A clinician, researcher, former nonprofit administrator and mother of three, Dr. Mackenzie speaks with genuine warmth, humor and real life passion based on her 25 years of experience as a "social change" professional.

Free admission is offered to the event, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and is sponsored by Alverno College Athletics with support from the NCAA Student-Athlete Affairs Grant.
