"I know our players have already benefited from having him on staff and I really look forward to watching him grow as a college basketball assistant. His record and state appearances as a high school coach really speak for themselves."

Fleming, a Milwaukee native, graduated from Milwaukee Marshall High School in 2001. While attending Marshall, he became one of the top basketball players in the state and received a full scholarship to play at the University of Wisconsin. Prior to his freshman year, Fleming was diagnosed with a heart ailment that prevented him from playing college basketball, but was able to keep his scholarship and became a student assistant coach under Bo Ryan for the four years he attended UW and graduated with a degree in marketing and a minor in legal studies.

For the past four years, Fleming has been coaching with the Wisconsin Basketball Academy Prestige AAU basketball club where has had the opportunity to work with some of the top girls in the area.

"Latrell is really a student of the game," commented Duckworth. "He has committed his summer to running one of the best AAU teams in Wisconsin and really is a great coach of individual skill. I couldn't be happier to have him on staff.

"Having signed to play at Wisconsin out of high school, he really understands the recruiting game from both the player and AAU coaches prospective. I'm sure he will be a great asset on the recruiting trail."

The Inferno are currently 2-4 on the young season and play their next game on Saturday at Aurora University.
