Inferno Beats Bucs, 2-0

The Inferno scored a goal in each half and Samantha Robinson recorded six saves as Alverno College defeated Beloit College, 2-0, Wednesday evening at Alverno Field.

The victory was the first for the Inferno in the nine-game all-time series against the Buccaneers.

Rookie-midfielder Hayley Serketich scored in the 20th minute from a Sydney Wisnerpass, and Nava Moniriarani added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute on a 30-yard bomb to lead the Inferno scoring. It was the fifth time this season Serketich found the back of the net and the sixth time for the senior captain.
