Golden Living Center-Heritage Square Earns Nation's Top Rank

, located in the Greendale/Greenfield border, was recently included in U.S. News & World Report's quarterly list of best nursing homes. To make the list, nursing homes must achieve a 5-Star overall rating in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Quality Rating Program.

 provides rehabilitation services to an average of 1,000 people in our community each year. Though not obvious to passers by, the Center has 100 beds for in-patient rehabilitation care. About a dozen patients have decided to make Heritage their permanent home since it is a licensed long-term care facility as well and thus these people enjoy a variety of programs and activities designed for them as well as restorative therapies on a regular basis.
