An Easy Garden Vegetable to Start from Seeds

Radishes are an easy garden vegetable to start from seeds.

One of the easiest vegetables to grow from seed in a small garden are Radishes.

Radishes thrive in cool spring and early summer weather. They can also be planted again a month before your first frost date. Most radishes are ready for harvest in a little as 21-29 days from planting. I usually start planting in late March or Early April and harvest and replant in the same area every two to three weeks until the end of June. I then, take a break and start replant again starting in September. Radishes can handle a light frost, so I continue to plant thru mid-October. Just remember to harvest as soon as possible to their harvest date as roots get woody and split when large.

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.
