Holiday Rosemary Topiary

Ideas for a Rosemary Topiary that have dried up.

Just received a call from one of my clients, who received a lovely Rosemary plant a few weeks before the holidays. After explaining what the small tree looked like, it was determined to have died. She was going to throw it out, but I reminded her that she could still use the plant in a couple of ways.

1.) Cut the dried branches from the plant and remove the dried leaves. They can be chopped up and used as dried rosemary in any recipe. (just store in a covered jar or container)
2.) The stripped down branches could be used as skewers on the grill, remembering to soak them first.
3.) the branches could also be used as firewood for any indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit, adding scent to the air.
After that, the remaining dirt and roots can be disposed of.
Hopefully, if you received a Rosemary topiary for the holidays; Yours is doing well. Just remember to water thoughtfully and not to allow the plant to sit in water. Also, place it near a sunny window.

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.
