Brewers Fail Miserably Against Jeff Suppan – Bad News/Good News

Disgustingly embarrassing loss to Jeff Suppan and the San Diego Padres keeps the bad news coming out of the west coast. Closer to home, there's some good news.

Chris Narveson out for the season with a torn rotator cuff.

Matt Gamel out for season with torn ACL.

Ryan Braun leaves game with tight Achilles.

Jeff Suppan throws five scoreless innings to help Padres win just their ninth game of the year and take the series from the Brewers.

When is that rookie camp in Green Bay?

I would rather discuss some good baseball news from the area!

An announcement was made yesterday that the WIAA State Boys Summer Baseball Tournament will be moved to Kapco Field at Concordia University in Mequon.

If you have seen the commercials featuring Robin Yount and Doug Melvin for the Lakeshore Shinooks, this is where they will play their home games. The Shinooks will kick off their season in late June and feature some of the best college talent.

The park features field turf which will help guarantee that games get played no matter the weather and the fact that almost all of the Summer Tournament teams hail from the Southeast make this a welcome move by most.

If that other team doesn’t shape up there will be some excellent opportunities to catch great baseball on the lake later this summer.

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.

As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.
