The 2011 Mission Trip participants were part of a larger group. Joined with other participants from five other churches in four different states, the total mission trip numbered over 100 happy and joyful people. They worked in 18 separate crews at 21 work sites. Together they helped more than 3,000 people around the Minneapolis area.

The 21 work sites varied from food distribution centers; a camp for children and adults with learning disabilities; a day care for the elderly or crews raked, gardened or cleaned at individual homes.

Our participants could not stop talking about the 2011 Mission Trip. One student thanked the congregation “our trip definitely changed my life” while another student wrote “I feel like I have been closer to God during this trip more than any other time in my life.”

As soon as the 2011 Mission Trip returned, they are already making plans for the 2012 Mission Trip!
