Just How Big of a Hit was Black Ops II?

Overview of the new Call of Duty Black Ops II video game.

I went around Whitnall High School to see how many kids have the game Call of Duty Black Ops II.

Call of Duty is a gaming series that allows you to compete in war in online streaming. Gamers raced to the stores Nov. 13, trying to be the first owners of the newest Call Of Duty series.

Many Whitnall students decided to skip school on Wednesday, Nov. 14, because they were up all night getting the game and playing it into the wee hours of the morning. I interviewed some students to see how many kids went to the midnight release.

Junior Glenn Hutchinson said, “I went to the midnight release because I was just so excited to play the game. I got to the store at 6 p.m. and was the second and I held a spot in line for one of my friends.”

I also asked how the game differs from the other Call of Duty games, Junior Drake Ambrock said, “This game has a lot better graphics and the game play is more realistic.”

Since the release, the company has sold a total of 7 million games worth about $360 million.

So now I will be heading to the store to buy the game.
