Whitnall Prom Will Let 'Skyfall' April 27

Whitnall students driving in fancy cars, dressing fancy and letting the sky fall for prom April 27.

The Whitnall High School junior class is hosting the James Bond “Skyfall” 2013 Prom at the Italian Community Center on April 27.

When one thinks of “prom,” one would normally think dancing, but is it really just a dance? To the senior class, maybe it’s about memories because prom most likely will be the last time seeing school friends and the people these seniors grew up with. Students have had many memories over the 12 years, and prom could be the last. So what does one think of when one hears “prom”?

“When I think of prom I think of dancing with the pretty girls and all the good food,” senior Zach Price said.

In the past Zach, has experienced a great prom including a sit-down dinner that he thought was amazing and is looking forward to walking into the doors of the Italian Community Center and seeing a wonderful dinner.

Whitnall senior Lauren Zurowski said this will be her fourth prom and each one has become more and more meaningful to her.

"As a senior I’m ready to go out for the night and cut loose with my friends,” she said.

Prom can be meaningful to some and just pure fun to others. On April 27, the students at Whitnall are going to find out what it means to them. So drive fancy, dress fancy, and let the sky fall.
