Mini Golf Tournament Benefits Partners of Parks and Recreation

The annual fundraiser was held at River Falls Family Fun Center.

Out of the "good people doing good things" file, the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department got a nice surprise a few weeks back at the 13th annual Greenfield Partners of Parks and Recreation Mini-Golf Invitational.

The event was held at the  and the owner, Loretta Kleczka, who not only graciously hosted the event at her facility, also presented the nonprofit organization with a check for $2,500 to be used toward the new .

In total, the event raised more than $5,900 to benefit the Partners of Parks and Recreation, whose mission is to assist the city's Parks and Recreation Department in the beautification of green space, purchase of park amenities and the development of park site activity areas to benefit the community.

Businesses and organizations could register teams of four for $50 or sponsor a hole for $100.

The event sponsor was Dan Jansen Family Fest and event co-sponsors were Ehlers and Associates, Lee Recreation and Horizon Management. Event partners included GRAEF, R&R Insurance, Von Briesen & Roper Attorneys at Law and .
