Whitnall's Haunted Hallways

Whitnall is hosting their annual Halloween Haunted Hallways to benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

Whitnall High School's "Haunted Hallways" is coming up at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, to support the Alzheimer’s Foundation for anyone who enjoys a good Halloween scare.

"Haunted Hallways" is a stroll through the halls of Whitnall while there are dastardly decorations with horrific music, and stunning special effects.

Carousing the halls only takes 10 minutes and is quite a thrill. But don’t let the high school scene scare you away; the haunted hallway tailors to all ages. The first hour of the tour will be kept relatively tame for younger audiences.

Whitnall student senate member Maddie Choppa said, “We wanted to make sure everyone will have a good time this year, so the first hour won’t be as scary for younger kids. After the first hour of the haunt, the hallways will become more intense."

This year’s theme for the fright is going to be a Zombie Apocalypse. It will feature volunteer students in full makeup and costumes jumping out and scaring the participants while strobe lights flash and fog blinds the view. Scary music will also accompany this heart-pounding thriller.

The overall opinion of this year’s haunted hallway is very positive.

Whitnall senior Chateng Thao said, “This year's theme seems pretty interesting and it seems most likely that it won’t let anyone down."

The entrance fee is only a $2 or $3 donation per person, but anyone is free to donate more.
