Alleged Drunk Driver Caught With Loaded Gun
If convicted, it would be Gregory Moreno's third offense operating while intoxicated. He was also charged with endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon while under the influence.
A 29-year-old Greenfield man is facing his third drunk driving charge after he was caught driving through Milwaukee with a loaded gun.
Gregory B. Moreno was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon while under the influence of intoxicants, one count of third offense operating while intoxicated and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
If convicted, he faces up to nearly three years in prison and $12,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:
On Tuesday, Milwaukee police officers were called to , 7606 W. Morgan Ave., after someone spotted a blue Pontiac driving erratically and nearly hitting other cars before pulling into the parking lot. The witness told police a male got out of the car with a child and when police arrived, they spotted Moreno standing next to the car.

Officers could smell alcohol on Moreno’s breath. Moreno then told them he had a concealed carry permit and was carrying a loaded gun. Officers found a loaded 9mm pistol in a holster around his waist, which they then took.
Moreno failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level of 0.11 at the time of the incident.
He was previously convicted of drunk driving in 2002 and 2005. He’s currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail.
