'Are You a Member of the Gestapo?' Staggering Man Asks
A man staggering around Greenfield became suspicious of a woman's Nazi connections when she asked if he needed help.
A concerned woman was hit with a strange query when she approached a man staggering near her Greenfield home, police said.
"Are you a member of the Gestapo?"
According to a police report, the woman who later called police noticed a man in his 70s staggering around the 6700 block of West Forest Home Avenue last Monday afternoon.
When she approached the man to ask if he needed help, he reportedly became agitated and asked if she was associated with Nazi Germany's secret police force.
The Gestapo fell with the Third Reich in 1945.
Police checked the area after the woman called police, but they could not locate him.
