Burglary Suspect Took Office Equipment, Cash From Accounting Firm

Someone smashed a front entry door and took a laptop, projector and more over the weekend.

A burglary suspect, or suspects, made off with nearly $1,200 in office equipment and cash and coins, and caused $1,000 in damage during a break-in at a Greenfield accounting firm, according to Greenfield police.

According to the police report, a someone smashed out a front glass entry door and damaged a steel door at the back of Nolan Accounting, 4262 S. 108th St., sometime between 4 p.m. Dec. 7 and 7:55 a.m. Dec. 8.

Once inside, the suspect or suspects appeared to have rummaged through employees’ desks and eventually took a laptop computer, a computer projector, a stereo system and a typewriter, in addition to $220 in cash and coins.

As of Monday, Greenfield police did not have any suspects in custody.
