Couple Charged After Drug Pipes, Pills Found During Greenfield Traffic Stop

One suspect reached for pills on the floor of the car while an officer was conducting the traffic stop.

A Milwaukee couple is facing drug charges after found prescription pills on the floor of their car and a pipe used to smoke cocaine during a traffic stop.

Jennie L. Brunner, 28, and Ryan Jeffery Paxton, 31, were each charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of possession of a prescription drug without a valid prescription. If convicted, they each face up to six months in prison.

On Friday, a Greenfield police officer pulled the couple over in the 4600 block of South 27th Street after they were speeding. During the stop the officer noticed Paxton reach down to the floorboard of the car and reach for blue pills laying in plain sight.

After searching the car, police found the pills were Amphetamine and Clonazepam. After searching Brunner’s purse, police also found two pipes for smoking marijuana and cocaine, along with a tin containing Alprazolam pills.
