Greenfield police officers responded to 34 calls for service at the park and 12 away from the park but related to the festival during the four-day event at . Of the 30 total arrests and citations, 11 involved juveniles.

The arrests/citations were as follows: eight for possession of tobacco by a minor; six for underage drinking; five for disorderly conduct; four for drug violations; two for resisting arrest; two for criminal trespassing; one for carrying of a concealed weapon; one for operating an auto after revocation and one for an open warrant.

Deputy Inspector Brad Wentlandt said almost all arrests involved the behavior of teens in or around the midway. He added he was proud of the relationship the department had with the festival organizers and the level of planning that goes into making the festival safe and enjoyable.

“We devote a significant amount of resources to the festival including auxiliary officers, bicycle patrol and officers assigned to the festival grounds," Wentlandt said. "Those resources have a positive impact on the environment and safety of the attendees. Our officers and Jansen Fest security have adopted a 'zero tolerance' policy and intervene quickly to prevent problems from escalating. We routinely escort teens off the grounds and order them not to return when they violate the behavior policy or dress code.”
