On Sunday, a man and his family were sleeping in their apartment in the 10100 block of West Cold Spring Road, when they were awoken by a man banging on the door of the residence. The man grabbed his semi-automatic handgun and went into the living room where he found the door kicked in and Johnson standing inside the apartment.

He then yelled at Johnson to get out and called police.

Officers found Johnson outside the apartment in a group of other people. He was drunk and told officers he didn’t remember the incident, but was extremely apologetic for what happened, saying he was trying to get into a friend’s apartment and had no clue who the victim was.

Johnson will make his initial appearance in court Friday.
