Facebook Post About Fight Keeps it From Happening

Greenfield High School summer school students were planning to fight July 8, but their Facebook posts reached the principal, who called police.

Students using social media to post details about a potential fight after summer school had their plans foiled by an alert school official.

According to the Greenfield Police Department, the Greenfield High School summer school principal saw a post on Facebook on July 8 that eluded to a fight taking place when school let out at noon.

She called police and both students involved admitted making threats toward each other. Police talked to both students and their parents, but did not issue any citations.
