Maybe she shouldn't be driving at 75.
Really? January 09, 2013 at 11:24 PM
Could you be any more disrespectful JM? May she rest in peace!

One less on the road getting in the way.

Very sad. Thoughts and Prayers go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Now I know for sure that you post these stupid saying on purpose to get attention. Dumb ass.
Just shut it! January 10, 2013 at 04:51 PM
This poor woman probably had a heart attack while driving. These medical attacks happen all the time. It's not like she drove into a tree because she was a 16-20something yr old texting! Younger people are "allowed" on the road everyday texting, drinking or just lack of attention.

Did you ever hear of karma?

That on ramp is poorly marked. There are three lanes and two signals. The left lane with no signal seems to appeal to speed racers who charge around and then in front of middle lane drivers. It would also be aided by reflective lights on the shoulder. This week there has been a lot of run off of melting snow turning to icey slush. I have called it to sheriff's department attention. 75 is not normally a dangerous age fro drivers even though I won't rule out just yet a health issue. Given the location I think the multiple potential for accidents is more likely the reason.

It's unfortunate that people like JustMe, have access to a computer. If that person had any common sense, he/she would not make judgement against another human being. We will not know what actually happened, until the reports come out.

How old are you? judging by your lack of respect I'll say 12

To just me....hope you think about your comment when your 75 years old. Some people are in better shape at 75 the some 30 year olds. Maybe some idiot ran her off the road, ever think of that?
thoughtful January 10, 2013 at 11:39 PM
In reference to JM's age, I wouldn't insult children by comparing him to a 12 yr old. I would just go with ... STUPID. Yeah "stupid" explains his comments quite well. Yes, I know "stupid" is not a very nice word, but sometimes you just gotta call 'em like you see 'em.

JustMe, I want you know that I am a personal friend of Darlene's and she was actually a driving instructor for the elderly for the state of Wisconsin. This was a fluke accident because she had an apparent heart attack (cause of death is still unknown at this time) and died while driving. She had no warning signs whatsoever. Personally, I believe you to be immature and callous with your comments and I hope that someday, you grow up and learn that sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. Grow up and then maybe we will listen to what you have to say. Until then, we will continue to take everything you say with a grain of salt.

I just learned of Darlenes passing and am very saddened by it. Working the elections with her I found her to be an intelligent, lovely person. My mother still drives herself to church and the gocery store. She drives way better than most people on the road. I'd get into a car with her any time. Not so with people I know alot younger. She's 90, so age does not always matter. cin
