Forged Prescription Leads to Multiple Arrests, Police Say

That incident, and the following were reported in the Greenfield Police Department log for the week of April 15-21.

An attempt to get a forged prescription led to an arrest.

And then another.

And then a third, sort of.

One woman, who was with three other adults and two children, was arrested by the Greenfield Police Department for trying to obtain a prescription by fraud from Pick ‘n Save, 4279 S 76th St., at 1:50 p.m. April 17.

Another woman, who came to pick up the children, was arrested back at the police station when found to be wanted by Elm Grove Police for an unrelated case and Greenfield police for a retail theft that occurred in 2012.

A third woman was not arrested but was turned over to Milwaukee Police for an incident in that city.

That incident, and the following were reported in the Greenfield Police Department log for the week of April 15-21:

  • Two woman were cited for retail theft after shoplifting at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 10:40 am. April 15. One of the woman was also cited for using an alias.
  • A resident in the 4300 block of South 51st Street reported cash and medication missing from her home April 15.
  • A caller reported to police he saw a woman barley dressed walking in traffic in the 3100 block of West Loomis Road at 10:40 a.m. April 17. The woman told the caller she was suicidal. The incident was turned over to Milwaukee police, who said the woman was from a nearby group home.
  • Gas was reported siphoned from a bus at Fin ‘n Feather, 4060 W. Loomis Rd., sometime before 12:15 p.m. April 17.
  • Two woman were arrested for stealing baby formula from Walmart at 5:30 p.m. April 17. One of them was also cited for resisting arrest and driving with a suspended registration.
  • A resident in the 4700 block of West Cold Spring Road reported his apartment was burglarized and that a laptop and two electric razors were taken sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 18.
  • A woman in the 3200 block of South 44th Street reported her vehicle, which was parked in her garage, was broken into and an iPod stolen sometime before 8 p.m. April 19.
