Greenfield Fire Department Accepting Applications for Firefighter Eligibility List

Applications are due Friday, Oct. 14.

According to the Greenfield Fire Department's Facebook page, applications are now being accepted to establish a firefighter eligibility list.

Applicants must be 18 or older, have a valid Wisconsin driver's license, possess a state EMT license (paramedic preferred) and be a certified Wiscosin Firefighter I.

Applicants must also have a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certificate prior to the Police & Fire Commission interview. The CPAT certificate is acceptable if dated after Jan. 1, 2011.

Applicants must be non-smokers who speak fluent English and are U.S. citizens.

According to the job description, the starting salary is $44,337 and includes excellence benefits.

Applications are available at , 4333 South 92nd Street or online at www.ci.greenfieldwi.us. A non-refundable state-testing fee of $14.50 must be included with the application.

The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
