Man Accused of Driving on Grassy Median Charged With 4th OWI
Greenfield's Henry Lipka is accused of driving drunk after a Greenfield police officer saw him driving erratically on Layton Avenue.
A 47-year-old Greenfield man is accused of his fourth drunken-driving offense after a police officer saw him driving erratically Saturday on Layton Avenue.
Henry Lipka was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Sunday with one count of fourth offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines.

On Saturday, a Greenfield police officer was on patrol in the 3900 block of West Layton Avenue when he saw Lipka drive erratically, switch lanes without using a turn signal and then drive on the grass of the road median. He pulled Lipka over and ordered him out of the car.
Lipka failed field sobriety tests and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital for a blood test.

Lipka was previously convicted of OWI in 1989, 1990 and 1997. He’s currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $500 bond.
