On Saturday, the victim was in the back seat of a car with Janczak’s sister in the parking lot of the El Rancho Motel, 8973 S. 27th St., when suddenly the door opened and he was hit in the face five or six times. He was able to get Janczak in a bear hug which stopped the attack, but the victim suffered a cut lip that required three stitches.
Janczak admitted to the attack to police and said he was sorry. He will make his initial appearance in court Tuesday.
