Greenfield Man Faces Felony Drug Charges After Pot Deals, Police Say

Allen Johnson was charged Feb. 26, with two felony counts of manufacturing and delivering marijuana and two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place.

A 27-year-old Greenfield man has been accused of selling nearly 70 grams of marijuana to the same person during a five-day stretch over this summer.

Allen Johnson was charged in Waukesha County Court on Feb. 26, with two felony counts of manufacturing and delivering marijuana and two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, also a felony, after police say he participated in two drug deals in Delafield in August.

According to the criminal complaint, Johnson met a man in the Burger King parking lot in Delafield, 2725 Heritage Drive, Aug. 16, and sold him two bags of marijuana weighing 18.3 grams each for $350.

Five days later, the two men met again in the same location, and Johnson sold the other man 29.1 grams of marijuana for another $350.

More than three months later, on Dec. 1, Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department deputies stopped Johnson and found a marijuana pipe and a container with a small amount of marijuana residue inside.

The criminal complaint does explain the gaps between the drug deals and the traffic stop or the traffic stop and the charges.

If convicted of all counts, Johnson faces a maximum of 7 years of imprisonment.
