Greenfield Man Who Overdosed Charged With Possession of Heroin, Police Say

Greendale's Corey Neal, 19, is accused of selling Curtis Nelson, a 20-year-old Greenfield man, three bindles of heroin, according to court records. Nelson overdosed on the drug last week.

The heroin overdose of a Greenfield man has two men facing jail time, according to court records.

On April 11, Greenfield police officers were called to a home in the 5100 block of South 46th Street where Curtis Nelson, 20, was being tended by Greenfield paramedics for a possible drug overdose.

Nelson’s grandfather, who also lives at the home, gave police permission to search the residence. Officers found drug paraphernalia consistent with heroin use.
