Greenfield Police Capt. Mike Brunner Celebrates 25th Year

Brunner began his tenure with Greenfield on March 7, 1988.

Capt. Michael Brunner was recognized by the Greenfield Police Department for his 25th year of service Wednesday, according to the department's Facebook page.

Brunner began his tenure with Greenfield on March 7, 1988. He was promoted to detective in October 1997, to sergeant in June 2001, detective sergeant in February 2010 and to captain in January 2012.

He has been a member of the department's tactical team since 1993 and is now the crisis response team commander.

Before coming to Greenfield, Brunner spent a combined four years with the Evansville and Edgerton police departments from 1984-88.
