Greenfield Police Chief Announces He Will Retire in June

Frank Springob has been with the department since 1965 and has served as chief since 1994.

After more than 46 years with the Greenfield Police Department, Chief Frank Springob has announced he will retire this summer.

Springob, who has been with the department since 1965 and has been the city’s police chief since 1994, informed his staff of his decision late last week.

Springob told Greenfield Patch this morning he has tentatively set his final day as June 30.
