Greenfield Police Continue Search for Associated Bank Robbery Suspect

The man entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding large bills.

The Greenfield Police Department is looking for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at Associated Bank, 4811 S. 76th St., late last week.

According to the department’s Facebook page and the police report, at approximately 5:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, a slender black man, approximately 5-foot-4-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding bills in denominations of 100s and 50s.

The teller gave him money and the suspect left the bank.

He was described as being 20 or 21 years old and was wearing a New York Yankees baseball hat over a mouton-style hat with ear flaps. He also had on dark pants, dark shoes and a black parka with a brown fur-lined hood over a second black and blue jacket with a white zipper.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 414-761-5301 or report the information anonymously to WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
