Greenfield Police Continue To Investigate Bank Robberies

TCF branch, credit union robbed during the last month.

Two robbers are sought by the Greenfield Police Department for their involvement in two separate crimes during the past month. 

Police are searching for a who struck the , 4375 South 76th St., May 13. 

The robber wore a black and caramel wig on his head. The robber had a mustache when the theft occurred.

The man, who hit the bank at 10:34 a.m., is described as black, 6-feet, 2-inches tall, thin and in his mid-20s. He was wearing hospital scrubs - blue bottoms with a floral top, a dark colored long sleeve crew neck shirt underneath and a white glove on his right hand. 

He was also wearing white shoes and sunglasses while carrying a messenger bag with a shoulder strap.

The robber left in a white cargo van with no markings, back or side windows.  

Police are also searching for a robber who entered the , 6126 W. Layton Ave., on  April 22 at 9:57 a.m. 

The man, wearing what appeared to be a Milwaukee Brewers baseball cap, .  

The robber is described as heavy-set white man, 5-feet, 10-inches tall with gray hair and glasses. The man is thought to be between 55 and 65 years old.  

"Both robberies are continuing to be actively investigated," said Paul Schlecht, Captain at the . "No arrests have been made at this time."
