Greenfield Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

The man was last seen in the 4600 block of South 60th Street.

The is requesting assistance in identifying and apprehending the suspect of an armed robbery.

According to police, sometime before 10 a.m. this morning, the suspect, described as a white male between 55 and 65 years old, approached a teller at the , pointed a handgun at the teller and demanded money.

The suspect was last seen in the area of the 4600 block on South 60th Street fleeing from the credit union on foot.

The suspect was estimated to be between 5-feet, 8-inches and 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a green, thigh-length coat over a dark colored crew neck shirt, a blue baseball cap (possibly with a Milwaukee Brewers logo), dark colored pants and shoes and glasses. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
